Psychological health of children is an increasing concern in our modern world. We believe that if we can nurture resilience from an early age, we offer our children the best chance to manage the pressures on them, to seek help when needed, and ultimately to thrive.
- Psychological assessment and therapy for children and families
We work with child and families who are experiencing difficulties. Issues that we commonly work with include anxiety and fears, low mood and depression, trauma, sleep difficulties, confidence, and coping with physical heath conditions.
We are trained to use a range of psychological therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Systemic Therapy. Therapy choice is made in collaboration with you, and depends on your needs and wishes, and the evidence for particular approaches.
- Work with the systems around a child e.g. consultation and training in schools
